Granted, I've been distracted by other things: writing projects, getting books self-published, herding cats, coping with social anxiety and chronic depression, yadda yadda...
But When I heard that at this year's Orlando MegaCon that Gillian Anderson was planning to appear, well...
Yes, I am going to see her (there will be other X-Files cast members in attendance so the odds are they will have a round-table group for the fans). I even spent the extra money to pose for a photo with her. I rarely do for these 'cons, it always felt like an extravagance. But now? Yeah, I'm stoked.
I may even break out the trench coat and risk sweating it out dressed as a spooky FBI agent for the 'con.
